We were killing time in the Denver Airport on the say to (or maybe from) Lauren’s parent’s 50th wedding anniversary when we saw this picture:
Our immediate thought was, “Oh man, that Indian is in trouble.”

It’s not what you think. No beautiful stained glass windows or banners.
At our church we have prayer request sheets in each pew, and every Sunday I am delighted by the crazy drawings some kid has drawn on the back. I’ve wanted to take pictures of them for a long time, and last Sunday I happened to have my camera phone. (Which happens to have been returned. Don’t tell us cellular guy.) So, the picture quality leaves something to be desired.
Wouldn’t a gallery of these be hilarious?

I’m not sure what this is, but it doesn’t look too good for that one guy.
It occurs to me that I’d better keep track of how I’m spending my vacation time. I am a big fan of Jill Connor Browne and her Sweet Potato Queens books, especially when she describes her favorite way to vacation – sitting around with a big pitcher of margaritas and not doin’ jack. Ahhh…. the gift of time.
On Monday I did a little shopping and watched a movie. Today I played a video game – Bloxorz – and got to level 25. In the evening we went to Jazz In June, which you you can read about more on Brad’s site, but before we left, I felt the need to cut up the watermelon that’s been sitting in our fridge for a couple of days.
