Where did the potting soil go? Lloyd’s still at school, so I can’t ask him. Who stole it???
“I teach preschool.”
This post is in honor of Brad’s comment at the doctor, “I teach middle school.” You can read about it here, but I warn you – it’s graphic! Being a teacher grants you a license to do anything weird. We get free stuff from McDonald’s – straws, boxes, juice, donations of all kinds, and MRI results. […]
Buildin’
I like making things, and fortunately I’m not too detail-oriented, so the outcome isn’t a big deal. That’s why it’s great to work with preschoolers! “Process, not product” is our battle cry. Anyway, you may remember the old view of housekeeping, well, here’s an update. We spent a couple of weeks learning about tools. Once […]
Happy Birthday, Brad!!
There’s no getting around it. You can’t call yourself somebody’s friend if you haven’t built a shrine to them. (Right now you’re thinking, “Well of course, but where am I going to fit in a shrine?”) In a spare closet, silly! We began our Shrine to Brad awhile ago, and it has grown greatly thanks […]
Grandpa Ernie

Pesto Schmesto
Somebody call Beth, ’cause the jury’s still out on the pesto. I put it on some fish and baked it, and that was alright. (I also made some back-up lemon pepper fish just in case fish one was inedible.) We also had ‘raw’ pesto on pasta, and I really didn’t care for that at all. […]
Wha? There’s a thief among us…
Nooo! What will I use in the summer?
Potting soil … ppeh … I currently have a bulb I’m trying to grow in a vase of rocks. I got it for Christmas. Right on the label it says “So easy …anyone can do it.”
So far I just still have the bulb. It said it should bloom within 6 weeks. Did I mention I’m a wicked cook and I can play Heart & Soul on the piano?
BONUS! Someone took the cat hair and dust too!
